When buying a desktop air conditioner you must go for a unit that has got a higher EER (energy efficiency ratio). A higher EER means less energy is consumed. 3. How Is The Temperature Proscribed? – Heat sensor thermostats are installed in most of the air conditioner today; with the help of this sensor it adjusts the temperature of the air entering the unit either using a programmable or a manual control.

4. Is the Maintenance Simple? – place the air conditioner so that the filters inside can be easily removed for replacement or repairs.

5. How Does Air exit From the Unit? – All you need is an air conditioning system that expels the air outside with no noise inside the room. Choose an office air conditioner that has a variable speed fan and it works in conjunction with the thermostat.
